Hi, I'm Princess the owner of Princess Cakes and Catering, the new baker on the blog, I'm here to let everyone know all about Princess Cakes and Catering. I have been in business since 2000, I opened my store in 2004 at Euclid Square Mall. The mall closed down and now I'm working from home, which is fine for now. I went to Cuyahoga Community College where I studied culinary arts.
I enjoy cooking for large groups, planning parties, catering, baking, and socializing. I love and believe in God, I know without Him I could not do anything. What brought me here? the book called THE IT GIRL'S GUIDE TO BLOGGING WITH MOXIE by Joellel Reeder & Katherine Scoleri. I knew I wanted to do a lot of things on the internet like marketing and I also want to get my business up and running on the internet.
I'm excited about this blog because it's my first one ever, so I hope everyone enjoys what I have to say and show you. Recipes
I really enjoy cooking and coming up with new recipes. Sometimes I take other recipes and jazz them up to fit my taste. I do this with cake recipes and food recipes. Italian food is my favorite, I love the oregano, basil, and the garlic taste in the Italian dishes. My next favorite foods is soul food, I like it hot and spicy.
Crispy Chicken: Season chicken, put flour in bag and season. Drop chicken in bag and shake, take the chicken out, dip chicken in water. Drop chicken back in bag of flour and shake. Fry in hot peanut oil. Chicken will be crispy like KFC chicken
.Hot and spicy chicken: Season chicken, place chicken in bowl, pour hot sauce on chicken, place in the bag of seasoned flour and shake, remove chicken. Fry in hot peanut oil.
Hot and spicy Fish: Season fish, place fish in bowl, pour hot sauce on fish. Drop fish in bag of cornmeal and shake, fry in hot peanut oil. Taste great!
Steak in love: Season steak, place steak in marinating container. Pour french dressing over steak, add sliced onions, garlic, and mushrooms, cover refrigerate overnight turning two to three times. Next day place everything in pan. place two teaspoons of butter on the steak. Broil turning twice. Serve steak with the juices from the pan. Make baked potato or smashed potatoes, a salad. Pour juice from the meat on potatoes and salad. Excellent!
Over Baked Fish: Mix ranch dressing and hot sauce together in bowl. Dip seasoned fish in mix. Place fish in bag of Itailian bread crumbs and shake. Sray baking dish with non stick pam. Bake until golden brown, about 20 min.
